Amy Silverstein's new heart has been beating strong for twenty-two years, despite a ten-year prognosis. After practicing law and performing music, Silverstein has discovered a new passion, writing. She has also been elected to the Board of Directors of UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing), a federally contracted transplant network. She is currently working on her second book, a novel.
